[S16] Launch of the UN-Habitat "Global Report on Human Settlements 2013"

The UN-Habitat Global Report on Human Settlements(GRHS)2013 focuses on Planning and Design for Sustainable Urban Mobility so as to bring people and places together, by creating cities that focus on accessibility, rather than increasing the length of urban transport infrastructure. The launch session at the LTA - UITP Singapore International Transport Conference and Exhibition (SITCE) will feature a round-table discussion on the GRHS amongst experts from the International Financial Institutions and the United Nations and seek to explore the new paradigm of sustainable urban mobility and its relevance for Public Transport. The launch of GRHS 2013 in Singapore follows its launch on Monday October 7, World Habitat Day, in Medellin, Colombia and London, United Kingdom.
