Your Singapore

Singapore is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with just over five million inhabitants. Brimming with energy, the tropical city boasts a world-class living environment with modern infrastructure, a rich blend of culture, a melting pot of global cuisines and an abundance of leisure activities and entertainment.

Located in the heart of Southeast Asia, Singapore is a well-connected urban metropolis. The public transport system is one of the most important means of transportation for most Singaporeans, with some 5.308 million trips made daily. The city centre is largely divided into several sections - the Orchard road shopping area, the Riverside, the downtown Marina Bay area and the financial district.

Singapore offers a diverse experience in terms of heritage, culture, food and people. Its population is made up of Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Eurasians, as well as a large community of foreigners from all over the world. English is the most common language in Singapore and other commonly spoken languages include Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, and some other dialects.
