Dear Friends of the Urban Transport Communities,
We have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the inaugural biennial LTA-UITP Singapore International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE) 2013, organised jointly by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore, the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and MSI Global Pte Ltd. This four-day congress encompasses the amalgamation of the World Urban Transport Leaders Summit (WUTLS), World Roads Conference (WRC) and World Urban Transit Conference (WUTC) that LTA has been organising, and the current series of the UITP Asia-Pacific Congresses.
SITCE 2013 will cover the entire urban transport spectrum, from transport policy and planning, to design and construction of rail and road infrastructures, as well as intelligent transport systems and other innovations. The Congress will be complemented by world-class exhibitions and an exciting social programme including technical tours, gala dinner and golf event.
This is a great opportunity for eminent international speakers to congregate to share insights and initiatives for addressing urban transport issues and providing solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of urban transport systems worldwide. It will also provide a platform for participants, government officials, policymakers and academics to network and exchange views on urban transport policies and planning, and the development and management of urban transport systems. The exhibition elements will give business opportunities to organisations from various industries providing solutions and services for urban transport projects in countries all over the world.
Last, but not least, SITCE 2013 aims to share many practical and inspiring ideas for all stakeholders to effect changes to make urban transport more attractive and sustainable for our present and future generations.
