Alexandre SAVARD

Alexandre Savard is a Senior Manager at GIRO, a leading maker of software solutions for public transport that supports more than 300 agencies in 26 countries. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Savard has held several key positions in the transport industry, both in public and private organizations, including a pivotal role in founding and managing the bus operations control centre at Montréal’s public transport agency, the STM. Mr. Savard has also led the design and implementation of numerous technology projects in the field of transport, ranging from control centres to operations-support systems and customer-information tools. He has overseen several strategic planning initiatives in transportation innovation, always with the goal of increasing the role of technology in meeting mobility challenges.

Mr. Savard is Chair of the Smart Mobility and ITS Committee at Québec's transport association, the AQTr
