CHUNG Hang Jae

I started the railway career as a rolling stock engineer of Seoul Metro in 1994 at the age of 29. During the career of more than 23 years as a rolling stock engineer, I participated in many projects like Seoul subway line 5 opening in 1995 and rolling stock warranty matter management after that, modification of lines 7 and 8 train traction inverter system and localization of regenerative brake and inverter snubber resistors and line 6 train traction inverter refurbishment project with localized components. I also did a vital role in international collaboration with many overseas railway organizations like New York City Transit. I was the speaker of 6 international railway conferences organized by UITP and others. I have a wife and a son of 15 years old.
