Dr. Tan is currently the manager of the Rail Engineering Specialist Team. He is responsible for enhancing the rail reliability and performance for both North East Line (NEL) and Down Town Line (DTL). Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Tan had worked as a Senior Principal Engineer in the area of Advanced Lithography with GlobalFoundries where he successfully developed and transferred various technology nodes including the next-generation of embedded non-volatile memory (40nm eNVM) for mass production. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a PhD in Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
