In the past 27 years, Geert held various leadership positions at Siemens in Germany, Belgium and the UK. Geert is a Belgian citizen and speaks fluent English, French, German and Dutch.
After graduating as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer (Hons), Geert started his career in Brussels. He gained significant experiences through successful positions in sales, project and product management in the telecom business. Geert headed an international expert team in London supporting IT projects on a global basis.
Since more than 8 years Geert is active in the transportation division. Initially concentrating on Automatic Fare Collection and intermodal solutions, the current focus lays on Innovative Technology in the Mobility domain, including topics such as Mobile applications, MaaS, DRT and Mobility Data Analytics.
As a Sales Director based in Munich, Germany, he combines his international experience with specific technological expertise. He was involved in many projects in Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa.
