Currently, Liang Chin is the Division Manager in ST Electronics with over 100 engineering team working on full turn-key solutions from Project Implementation to Operational and Maintenance Phase.

With today’s market operational requirements, her projects could involve one or more of the following areas:
1)    Maintenance Management System
2)    SCADA
3)    Geographical Information System
4)    Mobile Devices
5)    Data Analytics

With more 25 years in software development and technical knowledge and competencies, Liang Chin has worked extensively in several countries like Canada, USA, Australia, China and Singapore. In the capacity of key technical roles, she was involved in projects such as flight and weapon models for the aircraft simulator, Data Modelling for Engineering Systems, Automatic Train Supervision System, Integrated Supervisory Control Systems, Transport Unified Maintenance Hub, Beijing Traffic Control Centre, Military Air Traffic System, Incident Management System and Maintenance Management System. She has the passion, drive and interest in building up the operational system to serve the operational needs of customers. Currently, as a Maintenance Management System Division Manager, building and maintaining a great delivery team in her division continues to be the key to winning and eventual successful project delivery.

Under her leadership, her team has successfully delivered or implementing the Maintenance Management System for Singapore Circle Line and Downtown Line, and the future Thomson-East Coast Line. Besides in Singapore, her team also implemented numerous Maintenance Management Systems projects in China, Taiwan, Philippines, and Malaysia.

Graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, Liang Chin joint SEEL and Thales before joining Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited in 2003 where she now heads a team of over 100 software and system developers.
